As Practice Head, you will be responsible for owning and building the company's Data Engineering Services Practice. You will be working with a diverse set of senior stakeholders in our core business. You will develop a deep understanding of the company's business, leadership, and presentation skills, and gain exposure to a wide variety of functional teams within the company and set in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Technical Leadership:

- Execute proof of concepts to assess strategic opportunities and future, next-generation data processing and integration capabilities with a focus on recommending scalable, elastic and extensible solutions that yield positive ROI
- Make sound architectural decisions across relational, multi-dimensional, distributed and object- based storage platforms
- Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews
- Architecting and building data lakes, data warehouses (cloud), master data management, data modelling, data quality assessment and other related areas as a part of data engineering
- Lead development and management of data infrastructures (e. g data-warehouse infrastructure/AWS/Azure), tools, dashboards, queries, reports, and scripts that will automate recurring tasks for stakeholders while ensuring data quality and integrity
- Uphold highest standard for ETL jobs/Queries/Code/Scripts
Practice Head - Data Engineering
- Manage stakeholder requirements, feature request, solution life-cycle management
- Prepare documents / FAQ before new solution launches
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and extended analytics groups on data mart optimizations, query tuning, and data model designs with a focus on delivering actionable insights
- Organize training session for successful roll-out and implementation People Leadership
- Maintain a high performing team and focus on growing team members to be customer focussed risk takers and future leaders
- Be a fearless people leader able to lead both people managers and individual contributors to achieve their full potential
